Trust and safety

Safety and privacy at Find Your Person

Find Your Person provides member blocking and reporting, removes blocked members from relevant discovery and messaging paths, and gives administrators tools to review reports and take account action. The service also processes sensitive interview, photo, biometric, message, and usage data. Read the Privacy Policy before joining: no matching system can verify every member or make meeting a stranger risk-free.

Everyone passed the same bar

There is no free, passive candidate database here. Every member—any gender, any tier—completes the same interview, the same photo and preference setup, and the same eligibility checks before anyone is introduced. Paid plans change cadence and features, never who gets screened. No one is quietly listed as inventory for someone else to browse.

Controls implemented in the product

Members can block or report another member from match and conversation surfaces, review their blocked-user list, and unblock later. Reports support categories including harassment, inappropriate content, suspected fake profiles, underage concerns, scams, and other issues. Administrative tools can warn, suspend, ban, or dismiss after review.

What blocking changes

Blocked-user checks are applied across matching and messaging services so blocked members are excluded from relevant recommendations and communication paths. Blocking is a product control, not a substitute for contacting emergency services when someone may be in immediate danger.

What we check, what we don’t, and what that means

We would rather tell you exactly where our controls stop than let you assume more. What we do: require members to be 18 or older, run photos through an automated processing pipeline, support blocking and reporting, and ask for consent before using facial data. What we do not do: run criminal background checks, and we do not have a human reviewing photos one by one. That means our checks can reduce some risks and respond to reports, but they cannot confirm a stranger’s identity, history, or how they will behave offline. Treat anyone you meet as someone you are still getting to know, and use the safer-meeting basics below.

AI works for you, never as you

The system screens and explains; it does not act as you. We never write messages that you send as your own, never chat on your behalf, and never simulate you to another member outside of matching. Anything the model produces is a signal or a suggestion for you to use—not words sent in your name.

Sensitive data the service uses

Matching can use interview answers, profile and preference data, photo attributes, facial embeddings with consent, behavioral signals, messages, and device or usage data. The service does not sell personal information, but it does share data with service providers and in other circumstances described in the Privacy Policy.

Safer first-meeting basics

Keep early communication in the service, do not send money or financial credentials, meet in a public place, control your own transportation, tell someone you trust where you are going, and leave if a person pressures you or ignores a boundary. Contact local emergency services for immediate danger.

Direct answers

Does AI screening make dating safe?
No. AI and product controls can help filter and respond to some risks, but they cannot verify every claim or predict a person’s offline behavior.
Can I report someone without blocking them?
The product supports separate report and block actions. Use the option that fits the situation; for immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Does Find Your Person sell biometric data?
The Privacy Policy states that personal information, including biometric data, is not sold. It also explains limited service-provider processing and retention periods.
