1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Find Your Person (findyourperson.live), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MegaCorp, Inc. ("MegaCorp," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. About Find Your Person

Find Your Person is an AI-assisted dating and matchmaking service that uses interview-style onboarding, machine learning-driven compatibility matching, and optional voice features to connect compatible individuals. We are committed to a high-trust, safety-focused platform for genuine connection.

3. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Find Your Person. This requirement is strictly enforced.

  • We may use automated and manual methods to detect underage users
  • If we discover a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate the account and delete all associated data, including any biometric data collected
  • If you believe a user is underage, report them immediately to: trust@findyourperson.live
  • Any attempt to misrepresent your age is grounds for permanent account termination

4. Eligibility

In addition to the age requirement, you must:

  • Be legally capable of entering a binding contract under applicable law
  • Not be prohibited from using the service under the laws of your jurisdiction
  • Not have had a previous Find Your Person account terminated for violation of these Terms

5. Account Requirements — Authenticity

Find Your Person is built on authenticity. You agree to:

  • Use your real name and accurate biographical information in your profile
  • Upload only photos that genuinely and currently represent your appearance
  • Not impersonate any other person, whether real or fictional
  • Not create multiple accounts (one account per person)
  • Not use the platform on behalf of another person without their explicit knowledge and consent

Misrepresentation of identity is grounds for immediate, permanent account termination without refund. We may use automated photo analysis and manual review to detect profile fraud.

6. Photos and Biometric Data

Find Your Person uses automated photo analysis to assist with content moderation and preference matching. By uploading photos, you:

  1. Consent to automated analysis of your photos for:
    • Content moderation (detecting prohibited content)
    • Derivation of facial embeddings for compatibility matching and photo preference features
    • Photo attribute extraction for preference modeling
  2. Acknowledge that facial embedding data (mathematical representations of facial geometry) may be derived from your photos and used within our platform for matching purposes
  3. Understand that:
    • Facial embeddings are not used for identification outside the platform
    • Facial embeddings are not sold to or shared with third parties except ML infrastructure providers under strict processing agreements
    • You may request deletion of your photo data and associated embeddings at any time through account settings or by contacting privacy@findyourperson.live

Where applicable (including Illinois BIPA and Texas CUBI), this consent satisfies statutory requirements for written consent to biometric data collection. For full details, see our Privacy Policy Section 9.

7. Voice Features

Find Your Person offers voice interview and communication features. By using voice features, you:

  • Consent to the recording and processing of your voice for session delivery and transcript generation
  • Consent (separately, in account settings) to voice data being retained beyond session delivery for transcription improvement and safety review
  • Acknowledge that onboarding interview transcripts may be deleted after your last active match is resolved, even if derived profile signals remain in use for future matching
  • Acknowledge that voice sessions are not private conversations between users; they are processed by our systems

You may withdraw consent to extended voice data retention at any time in account settings → Privacy → Voice Data. Withdrawal does not affect data already collected.

8. AI-Assisted Matching

Find Your Person uses artificial intelligence to generate match recommendations. By using the service, you acknowledge that:

  • AI match recommendations are not guarantees of compatibility, romantic success, or any particular outcome
  • Match quality and recommendation accuracy may vary and will improve over time as the algorithm learns from platform-wide data
  • You retain the right to accept or reject any match at any time without explanation
  • AI-generated content (e.g., conversation suggestions or icebreakers) is provided for convenience; it does not represent MegaCorp's views or endorsements
  • Automated decisions that significantly affect you (e.g., account restrictions triggered by automated review) may be appealed by contacting trust@findyourperson.live

9. User Conduct

You agree to use Find Your Person in good faith for the purpose of genuine connection. You specifically agree not to:

  • Use the platform for commercial solicitation, advertising, escort services, or any form of transactional sexual arrangement
  • Send unsolicited explicit or sexual content to other users
  • Engage in harassment, stalking, threats, hate speech, or discriminatory conduct based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Use language or behavior intended to demean, intimidate, or coerce another user
  • Attempt to move conversations off-platform to circumvent safety systems before both parties have mutually agreed to do so
  • Share another user's personal information with third parties without their consent (including photos, messages, or location)
  • Use the platform with the intent to collect personal data about other users at scale

Violations will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement where required by applicable law or where we have reason to believe illegal conduct has occurred.

10. Prohibited Content

You may not submit content that:

  • Contains nudity, explicit sexual content, or graphic violence
  • Depicts or promotes harm to minors
  • Constitutes hate speech, slurs, or content that dehumanizes individuals or groups
  • Is false, deceptive, or misleading (including fake profile information)
  • Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Contains malware, phishing attempts, or harmful code

11. Trust & Safety

MegaCorp maintains a dedicated Trust & Safety team for Find Your Person. We take safety reports seriously.

You may report:

  • Harassment or abusive behavior
  • Suspected underage users
  • Suspected fake or fraudulent profiles
  • Impersonation
  • Any safety concern, including potential offline harm

How to report: trust@findyourperson.live or use the "Report User" button on any profile.

Response commitments:

  • Urgent safety concerns (imminent harm, underage reports): We aim to respond within 4 hours
  • Harassment and abuse reports: Within 24 hours
  • General reports: Within 72 hours

We will take appropriate action, which may include warning, suspension, or termination of the reported account. We may not be able to share specifics of our action due to user privacy considerations.

MegaCorp is not liable for the conduct of users on or off the platform, but we are committed to maintaining a safe environment and will take all reasonable steps to enforce these Terms.

12. Memberships and Payments

Find Your Person offers free and paid membership tiers.

Paid Memberships

  • Paid memberships are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) until cancelled
  • All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated at checkout
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel
  • Membership benefits are as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase; we reserve the right to modify benefits with 30 days' notice

Cancellation

  • You may cancel at any time from account settings → Membership → Cancel
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then
  • Cancellation does not delete your account; account deletion is a separate action

Refunds

Paid memberships are non-refundable except:

  • As required by applicable law (e.g., EU consumer protection regulations requiring a cooling-off period)
  • If stated otherwise at the time of purchase
  • If your account was terminated by MegaCorp without cause

Price Changes

We will provide at least 30 days' notice of price changes. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.

Failed Payments

Failure to maintain valid payment information may result in downgrade to the free tier or suspension of access. We will notify you before downgrading your account.

13. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon deletion:

  • Your profile will be removed from matching and search within 24 hours
  • Personal data will be deleted from active systems within 30 days
  • Biometric data (facial embeddings) will be deleted within 30 days
  • Voice recordings will be deleted per the schedule in our Privacy Policy
  • Some data may be retained for legal, safety, or fraud prevention purposes as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Paid membership cancellation and data deletion are separate actions; deleting your account will cancel your membership but may not trigger an automatic refund

14. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Find Your Person. By submitting content, you grant MegaCorp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely to operate and improve Find Your Person.

This license includes the right to use your photos and voice recordings to train and improve our matching and moderation systems, subject to the consent and retention limitations described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that:

  • You own or have all necessary rights to submit the content
  • You have the right to grant the above license
  • The content does not violate these Terms or applicable law

15. Privacy

Your use of Find Your Person is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy, including the collection of biometric data and voice recordings as described.

16. Intellectual Property

Find Your Person and all associated software, designs, logos, and content are owned by MegaCorp, Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials without written permission.

17. Disclaimers

Find Your Person is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant:

  • That the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • That AI match recommendations will result in compatible matches or relationships
  • That other users are who they claim to be (we rely on user-provided information)
  • That the platform will meet your specific needs or expectations

MegaCorp is not responsible for the actions of users on or off the platform. We encourage users to exercise appropriate caution when meeting matches in person.

18. Safety Recommendations

While not a legal obligation, we strongly encourage all users to:

  • Meet new matches in public places for initial dates
  • Tell a trusted person where you are going and who you are meeting
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, leave and report
  • Not share personal contact information (address, workplace) until you feel comfortable
  • Use in-app communication features rather than moving to personal numbers immediately

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MegaCorp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Find Your Person, including but not limited to damages arising from:

  • Actions of other users on or off the platform
  • Inaccuracy of match recommendations
  • Unauthorized access to your account by a third party
  • Loss of data

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of:

  • (a) the total fees you paid to MegaCorp in the 12 months preceding the claim; or
  • (b) $100

This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, even if MegaCorp has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MegaCorp and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of Find Your Person
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you submit to the platform
  • Your interactions with other users on or off the platform

21. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Binding Arbitration: Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Find Your Person shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted on an individual basis. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

Exception: Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, including to enforce intellectual property rights.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by notifying us in writing within 30 days of first accepting these Terms at legal@megacorp.company.

22. Changes to These Terms

We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Changes to sections affecting biometric consent will require renewed explicit consent where required by applicable law.

Your continued use of Find Your Person after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

23. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, safety concerns, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. Accounts terminated for serious violations (e.g., harassment, underage users, fraudulent identity) may be permanently banned.

You may delete your account at any time from account settings.

Sections 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, and 21 survive termination.

24. Contact
